Sometimes USPS isn't the nicest with deliveries. We have a customer that was so excited to get her fly rod but when she saw the condition it was in it made her heart sink.
We of course sent her out a new one to replace the broken one and she got it 2 days later. We received the broken one back from USPS saying sorry, but I can't help but wonder how it is that the rod tube the box and all 4 pieces of the rod were shattered, so we decided to put it to the test and drive over the part of the rod that wasn't broken yet with my Subaru to see if it would break it.
Here is the result:
**UPDATE
After posting this to Facebook, someone mentioned that if you keep the rod in the tube, the pressure from the tube would break the rod, so we had to put that to the test as well to see if it was true.
